11:54 am - Dix Ah, half-days of school are very nice. Nicer still is this Carnival this afternoon. I think that it will be quite fun. We had one at my school when I was petite, but I think this one will be much more entertaining. I love things like fish ponds and ring toss. And the photo booth sounds like fun as well.
It is a lovely day outside, which is very good, for all of the activities. And the barbecue! I must go and dig out my sun screen. And also my sunglasses.

07:47 pm - Neuf Pierre l'Oeuf if two days old and has survived very well. Even though his père insists on giving him danse lessons! But it is good to introduce a child to cultural experiences while young. Even if that child is just an egg.
I have decided not to eat eggs until the project is over in support of our petit enfant. Unless eggs Benedict comes up on the menu and then I will have to change that plan, because eggs Benny are délicieux.
I heard someone say that they were keeping their egg in their closet with their clothes. I hope they do not forget about it, because a rotten egg is not a pleasant thing.

02:11 pm - Huit In French, we call this day Poisson d'Avril. (Yes, April Fish).
When we were younger we would make paper fish and try and attach them to our schoolmates' backs without them noticing.

12:57 pm - Sept You meet terribly interesting people on the bus. Or terribly peculiar people. I was on the buss last night, to run some errands into town. On the way, I was going to take a seat by a lady, but she informed me that the seat was saved for her purse.
On the way back, there was a man talking to his mobile phone. Except his moble phone was one of those plastic ones with candy inside.
Très bizzare.

02:21 pm - Six So, just because those of us who did not go off for March Break weren't able to have a trip does not mean we shouldn't have any fun.
I say that some of us here plan an adventure. A day trip somewhere. The Washington mountain has some winter trails for hiking and snowshoeing and other activities.
And I believe there's somewhere we you can rent snowmobiles, which could make for a fun day. I miss the snowmobile we have at home.
The weather is getting just about perfect for some late winter outdoor activities. Anyone up for anything like that?

05:04 pm - Cinq I am looking forward to the wedding this weekend, even though I do not know Mr. Yates or Miss Wilson very well. Still, Nova speaks well of them. As well as Nova speaks of anyone, that is. My roommate is très amusante!
Is anyone going shopping? I would like to, perhaps, get a new dress or something to wear. Any excuse to shop! I've not been since I arrived at the beginning of term, so I think I'm due. All of the Spring clothes will be coming into stores now!

04:38 pm - Quatre I am in need of something new to read. But rather than ask for out and out recommendations, I ask this:
What are you currently reading? And what do you think of it?

04:40 pm - Trois Is anyone going in to town that I could catch a ride from? I'd like to go to the grocery store and get cheese curds and supplies for brown gravy. I have been having a terribly craving for poutine.
If not, there is always the bus.
I find it funny to hear people complain about the cold, because this is milder than I am used to this time of the year.

01:35 pm - Deux My first week here has gone well, I think.
It is nice that the school is not so big, as it makes it easy to find classrooms and what not. Not too much getting turned around.
My roommate is a bit of a firecracker, which I like, as it will surely keep things interesting.
The food, c'est excellent. It makes me want to cook. Especially some of the foods that I miss from home. Perhaps I will do some of that; I find cooking relaxing.
Does anyone here snowshoe?

11:52 am - Un Bonjour tout le monde.
It was suggested that I introduce myself as I am new to the school for this term. My name is Rémy Chaisson. I have just arrived. Yesterday in fact, and spent the entire day unpacking and speaking with teachers.
I am from New Brunswick, Canada, a little town that I am sure most people have not heard of.
I will be joining the Grade Ten class. Sophomore, I believe you call it? My ability, as it was suggested I mention, is Eidetic Memory.
Before it comes up, yes, I am Francophone and Canadian. But no, I am not from Quebec at any point in my life or ancestory.
